Whitehaus Terms and Conditions
Returns: All goods must be counted and inspected within 24 hours of delivery. Please contact our Returns Department toll-free at (800) 527-6690, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST, prior to making a claim for defective merchandise. No merchandise may be returned for credit or replacement without Return Goods Authorization request and approval. No item will be accepted for return more than 30 days from date of shipment from manufacturer. All Farmhaus Fireclay sinks are Final Sale and will not be accepted for return under any circumstance. Installation constitutes acceptance of the product. Authorized returns must be received by Whitehaus Collection® prior to the RGA expiration date. RGAs will not be reissued for expired returns. Returned merchandise must be in quality resalable condition and shipped prepaid in its original packaging. A restocking fee of 35% will be applied to all resalable items returned that are found not to be defective. All returns with Re-orders are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Re-orders must be submitted within 14 days of the Original Order. Re-orders received after the 14 day period will be processed as Regular Orders and the returned items will be subject to a 35% restocking fee. To expedite the processing of Returned Goods Authorization requests, please complete all fields on the RGA request form, including a detailed reason for return, list of repairs attempted, and original invoice number. No returns will be accepted without this information. Whitehaus Collection® is not responsible for any delays in delivery which are beyond our control such as strikes, delays in transportation or production, or any contingencies of similar character.
Authorized Returns for manufacturer’s credit only.
Unauthorized Returns will be shipped back to the Customer at the Customer’s expense.
Damaged Items: Damaged items are not the same as defective items. All shortages and visible damage should be noted on the original Bill of Lading before it is signed. If an item is received damaged, you or your customer have the responsibility of reporting all shortages, visible and concealed damages to Whitehaus Collection® within 48 hours of delivery. Whitehaus Collection® will not accept these items for return. Whitehaus Collection® will not be held liable for any shortages or damages if a claim is not reported within the designated time frame. Please take digital photos of all shipping materials and packaging as well as the damage to the item and e-mail the images to: info@ whitehauscollection.com or email@example.com. If you are not sure if the item you received is damaged or defective you have the responsibility to contact Whitehaus Collection® within 48 hours of delivery at (800) 527-6690.
Defective Items: All defective items are subject to inspection by Whitehaus Collection®. Please be prepared to provide photographs or return the product for inspection if requested. Whitehaus Collection® will repair or replace defective items at its discretion. An additional charge will be incurred, when necessary, for reconditioning. Variations in color, shade, grain, tonality, veining, and texture are inherent characteristics thereof and not defects. Rush shipping will be at the expense of the user.
Cancellations: Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via facsimile to our order department at (800) 694-4837. Orders may not be cancelled without the expressed written permission of Whitehaus Collection®. Written cancellation of back-ordered items must be received via fax and confirmed by Whitehaus Collection® prior to shipment. Special Order items as listed in this price book, and sinks with extra hole drilling, may not be cancelled.
Terms of Sale: 2% 10 days/net 30 days from date of invoice. The 2% cash discount is not extended to C.O.D. shipments. A late payment charge of 1½% per month will be applied to all past due invoices; annual rate of 18%. It is agreed that all expenses incurred for collection as well as attorney fees, if necessary, will be added to the amount due. We will not accept an invoice or debit memo from any customer. This will in no way affect your responsibility for payment of product sold to you. It will not reduce the amount owed, and will not be entered into our receivable ledger.
Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice and are exclusive of any shipping, packaging, or handling charge that may apply. All prices are F.O.B. (Freight on Board) West Haven, CT. Orders will be invoiced at prevailing prices at time of shipment.
Packing & Shipping Charges: All packages requiring foam pack will be charged $15.00 net per box. Typically, all fireclay, glass, and china products will be foam packed and sent via common carrier on a skid. A $12.00 net handling charge will be applied to all common carrier shipments over and above the shipping charges. For common carrier shipments, it is recommended to group as many items together as possible to bring down the cost per unit. Please feel free to call us for a shipping quote if you are not familiar with typical charges for our industry.
Dimensions: All dimensions shown are approximate - slight variations may occur during manufacturing, particularly glass and fireclay products. Dimensions are not guaranteed, but are shown for customer convenience.
